how long to you spend with someone before you are considered "dating"? 2 dates? 5 dates? what do you all think - how long before it's considered a "thing"....

I think you're officially dating when one of you musters up the guts to say, "So.. not to be all 16-yr-old, but.. are you my boy/girlfriend?"
Or you could ask her if that's what you are. I don't think it's really "dating" unless it's been voted upon by everyone in the relationship.

You're with someone after it feels right and you know you aren't rushing it. When you know its okay to be yourself totally normally. When it feels fun and not like you have to try so hard. When you STILL want to try hard, even though you know you dont have to. When youre still interested after a few dates. When you arent sick of her after spending lots of time with her. When you know for sure she isnt sick of you after spending time with you.
